About Mountain Dental

Our mission as a dental team is to work together as a unit to provide the best dental care available for all ages, caring for them as we would family members. We treat our patients with patience and kindness. We are committed as a team to avoid complacency, choosing instead to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry through continuing education and use of the latest and best treatment modalities, materials, sterilization techniques, and technology.

Dr. George Sarandev

Dr. Sarandev is very passionate about dentistry. He spends a lot of his time researching and integrating new technologies, materials and services for its patients. In addition to Mountain Dental, he is also the the dentist/owner of AuSable Dental Center and Tupper Lake Family Dental.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures; playing and watching sports.
Dr Sarandev is married to Rosie who is also UB alumni and has many years of experience in Financial Risk Management.
Currently she works as a Financial Officer for our practices in Tupper Lake and AuSable Forks. They have three daughters; Dominica, Kaline, and Sanya.

Dr. Mara Mariani

Dr. Mariani joined our practice in August 2023 with over 20 years of experience.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs Coraline and Belle.

Melissa

Office Manager

Her numerous responsibilities cover Front Desk, Inventory Management, Insurance Billing and Treatment Plan Coordination. Melissa has over 20 years dental experience and is dedicate to making our office a delight for everyone.

Autumn

Dental Hygentist

Autumn has been a member of our hygiene team since 2020. She is passionate about providing exceptional care to her patients. When she's not cleaning patient's teeth she can be found doing all the outdoor activities the Adirondack's have to offer with her husband Chase.

Lauren

Coordinator

Lauren joined our team in 2020. Lauren is responsible for everything insurance related. She is also able to assist the doctor's when needed. Lauren volunteers for Lake Placid EMT and Upper Jay Fire Department. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog.

Stacy

Dental Assistant

Stacy joined our team in 2023 with 5 years of dental experience. She is the professional at fabricating the crowns within the practice. When not working, Stacy loves watching football and spending time with her family.

Katherine

Dental Assistant

Katherine joined our team in 2022. She loves assisting root canals and is wonderful at patient care. Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs; Mosby and Jud.

Kaitlyn

Dental Assistant

Kaitlyn joined our team in 2024 with 7 years of dental experience. When she's not working she enjoys spending time with her two children and being outdoors.
